Amid the nation and worldwide spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Trump Administration in conjunction with The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has suspended all foreclosure and evictions. All single-family homeowners with FHA-insured mortgages and Home Equity fall under the moratorium for 60 days.
What does that mean? Homeowners and renters are encouraged to talk with their lender and or landlord to see what options are available to them. Some options are mortgage modifications, short and long-term forbearance and payment relief options.
